With over 15 years of experience, he’s dedicated to culturally attuned programs, social-emotional support for students, and soft skill development. He’s also an author, having written two books, and is working on a memoir about his journey from South Central Los Angeles to academic success. Mr. Carias holds degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and USC, and his impactful work has received recognition in national and local media. He resides in South Central Los Angeles with his dog, Wally.
